The short version
Back of Mind does not collect, send or share your notes or any personal data. Everything you write stays on your device.
The app
- Your notes are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone.
- There is no account, no sign-in and no server that receives your notes.
- The app contains no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- The app does not ask for access to your contacts, location, camera or microphone.
Backups
If device backup is turned on in your phone's settings, your phone may include the app's data in your own Google backup. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account, and the developer has no access to it. Uninstalling the app deletes its notes from the device.
This website
The demo on this site saves the notes you type in your own browser's storage so they are still there when you come back. They are never sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes them.
This site has no cookies, no analytics and no forms. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub may log technical data such as visitor IP addresses to run and protect the service.
Shop and store links
Google Play and any merchandise shop linked from this site are run by other companies and have their own privacy policies.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
